Cowan Lodge at Cowan Cowan offers beach access only a 3 minute walk away.  Cowan Cowan is a small, laid‑back beachfront village on the western side of Moreton Island, looking across Moreton Bay towards Brisbane, surrounded by national park. It sits north of Tangalooma and is known for its quiet, vehicle‑free beachfront, making it especially popular with families and anyone who loves calm water, sunsets and ship‑spotting.

The beach is perfect for paddle-boarding, snorkelling and fishing, with a relaxed beach setting.  A 4WD vehicle is required to access Cowan Cowan.
